Our Camera: Canon Powershot A640


With 10 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom this camera is a significant upgrade from our previous 1 megapixel no zoom model. We also enjoy the 2.5" flip screen which is handy for over head, self portrait and other unusual shots. We use a 8 GB SD card and for underwater shots we have an aquapac camera case. We also carry and use a 4" Flexible Mini Tripod available here for $1.49 with free shipping the last time I checked.
